Excellence Fund
The goal of the Excellence Fund program is to raise funds to support and enhance each of the University of Guelph's varsity teams. For example, funds can be used to purchase team equipment, support out of conference (exhibition) competition or provide additional training aids; all with the intent of improving the student-athlete experience and making our teams more competitive. The Men’s Basketball team will use the funds to purchase team equipment and support out of conference (exhibition) competition.
Garney Henley Scholarship
Established by alumni and friends, this scholarship honours Garney Henley, Hall of Fame CFL football great and former Gryphon Basketball Coach. Garney coached the Gryphons from 1966-1976 and lead them to the teams only CIAU Basketball Championship.
