Excellence Fund
The goal of the Excellence Fund program is to raise funds to support and enhance each of the University of Guelph's varsity teams. For example, funds can be used to purchase team equipment, support out of conference (exhibition) competition or provide additional training aids; all with the intent of improving the student-athlete experience and making our teams more competitive. The Women’s Basketball team will use the funds to purchase team equipment and support out of conference (exhibition) competition.
Angela Orton Scholarship
Established by friends and colleagues, this scholarship honours long-time Women’s Basketball Coach and Department of Athletics Administrator, Angela Orton. Angela had a significant impact on student-athletes and coaches over her 30-year career at Guelph.
